Learned counsel for the State/appellant submits that vide order dated 28.08.2024, the Coordinate Bench of this Court had stayed the effect and operation of the Award dated 20.04.2018, subject to the condition of depositing the entire awarded amount. However, the said amount was not deposited by the appellant, and consequently, the interim order dated 28.08.2024 was vacated by order dated 08.04.2025. Thereafter, the appellant moved an application seeking permission to deposit the entire awarded amount along with interest, which was allowed vide order dated 26.06.2025. In compliance therewith, the appellant deposited the awarded amount along with interest on 30.06.2025.

4. Since the awarded amount along with interest has already been deposited by the appellant on 30.06.2025, the effect and operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 20.02.2019 passed by the learned District Judge, Almora, in Arbitration Case No.19 of 2018, as well as the Award dated 20.04.2018 passed by the Sole Arbitrator, shall remain stayed till the next date of listing.
