2. Though the matter is listed as defective by the Office, but the defect is of non supply of certified copy of the judgment and order passed by the controlling authority under The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, as well as the appellate authority i.e., Additional Labour Commissioner under the The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.

3. This writ petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India by the petitioners for quashing the impugned order dated 26.05.2025, passed in Appeal No.06 of 2025, Uttarakhand Van Vikas Nigam Ltd. Vs. Shri Rajpal Singh and another, passed by the appellate authority under the The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 and decision dated 06.08.2024 in PGA Case No.56 of 2023, Shri Rajpal Singh Vs. M/s Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation and another, passed by learned Controlling Authority, Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972/Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kotdwar, Pauri- Garhwal.

4. Issue notice to the respondent, returnable within four weeks.

5. Steps to be taken within 15 days.

6. List this case on 05.12.2025.

7. However it is made clear that in the meantime petitioner shall supply certified copy of the order to remove the defects as pointed out by the Registry.
