4. Since common questions of fact and law are involved in both the petitions, therefore, these petitions are clubbed together and decided by this common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of WPSS No. 1650 of 2025 alone are being considered and discussed.

5. Petitioner was employed in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation and he retired from service upon completing the age of superannuation. According to him, he has not been paid full benefit of 6th Pay Commission w.e.f. 01.01.2006, although other similarly situate employees were given such benefit.

6. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:-

(i) Issue a writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 & 3 to grant the petitioner the full benefits of the 6th Pay Commission 2025:UHC:9018 effective from 01.01.2006, along with all arrears and applicable interest.

7. Learned counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Transport Corporation submits that if petitioner makes representation to Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, regarding his claim for full benefit of 6th Pay Commission, the same shall be considered, as per law.

8. Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of by permitting petitioners to make fresh representation(s) to Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, within three weeks from today. If petitioners make representation(s) within stipulated time, Managing Director shall consider their case for benefit of 6th Pay Commission and pass appropriate order, as per law, within four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, along with representation(s).
