By means of instant petition, the petitioners have sought
the following reliefs:-
"(i) To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to forthwith grant the Promotion Pay Scale (Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-) to the petitioners from due date, details whereof is given in Para 5 of the writ petition, along with arrears of the same.
(ii) To issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
(iii) To award the cost of the writ petition in favour of the petitioners."
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the
record.
3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners
would submit that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment
dated 11.04.2017, passed in WPSS No. 602 of 2014, Deep Chandra
Badhani and others vs. State of Uttarakhand and others and other
connected matters.
4. This fact is admitted by the learned State counsel.
5. Since the matter is covered, instant petition is decided in
terms of the judgment dated 11.04.2017, passed in WPSS No. 602 of
2014, Deep Chandra Badhani and others vs. State of Uttarakhand
and others and other connected matters
