Mr. Pramod Bailwal, learned counsel for the applicant.

2. Mr. Vipul Painuly, learned AGA for the State of Uttarakhand.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant states before this Court that the parties have entered into a compromise, and they have settled their scores by paying the money back which was due. He has also drawn the attention of this Court to the documents annexed as Annexure no.4 to this C482 application, stating that the parties have entered into a settlement regarding the criminal proceedings of Criminal Case No.270 of 2015, under sections 465, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC.

4. On the other hand, learned State Counsel has vehemently objected the said compromise with the contention that the matter relating to non-compounding of the offences, and submits that it cannot be compounded.

5. In this regard, learned counsel for the applicant has placed reliance on a judgment rendered by this Court in the case of "Malak Singh and others Vs. State of Uttarakhand and another", reported in 2020 0 Supreme (UK) 379.

6. To know the certainty of the events of the alleged compromise as mentioned, this Court thinks fit that the parties would remain present before this Court in person on the next date of listing, which is fixed for 26.06.2025.

7. List this matter on 26.06.2025.

8. It has also been brought to the knowledge of this Court that some of the parties have passed away during the pendency of present matter. In this regard, let death certificates be brought on record.
