JUDGMENT

The petitioner seeks direction that she may be
transferred from Aaganwadi Centre, Delna to Aaganwadi
Centre Mundet, Block Narsan, Roorkee, District
Haridwar.
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and
perused the record.
3. The Court wanted to know from the learned
counsel for the petitioner that, as to whether the post is
transferable? The answer is in negative.
4. The Court further wanted to know, as to whether
is it necessary for a person to be appointed as an
Aaganwadi worker that he/she should be the resident of
the Revenue Village, where the appointment is to be
made? The answer is in affirmative.
5. The post is not transferable. It is stated by
learned counsel for the petitioner that Aaganwadi worker
should be appointed from the same Revenue Village,
where such appointment is to be made. If it is so, where is
the question of transfer? There is no question of transfer.
Accordingly, the petition deserves to be dismissed at the
stage of admission itself.
6. The petition is dismissed in limine.
