Hon'ble Ashish Naithani, J.
Mr. G.S. Negi, Additional CSC, for the State/petitioners.
Mr. Trilok Chandra, Advocate, i/b Mr. K.K. Joshi, Advocate for the respondent /review applicant.
(2) For the reasons indicated, delay condonation application (IA/5/2025) is allowed. Delay in filing the review application is condoned.
(3) State filed this writ petition challenging the judgment rendered by the Public Services Tribunal. Writ petition was allowed vide judgment dated 30.4.2025 on the ground that respondent was not eligible for notional promotion, as minor punishment was imposed upon him. (4) Today, the matter is listed on review application (MCC/4/2025). Some new documents have been brought on record for seeking review of the aforesaid judgment. Law is well settled that review is not to be treated as an appeal in disguise. Learned Counsel for the petitioners could not show any error apparent on the face of record, which may warrant invocation of review jurisdiction. Accordingly, review application is rejected.
