4. Petitioner has become overage for appointment as Nursing Officer, as she has completed 42 years of age on 1.7.2025.

5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:-

"A. A Writ, Order or direction in the nature of Certiorari to quash the Clause No. 7 of the advertisement dated 17-11-2025 issued by Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board for conducting the Nursing Officer (Female/Male) Examination 2025 (Annexure No. 1), whereby the cutoff date 01-07-2025 has been fixed for determination of upper age limit of the candidates for participating in the nursing officer examination, 2025 as arbitrary and discriminatory.

B. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the selection process of Nursing Officer (Female/Male) Examination 2025, pursuant to the advertisement dated 17-11- 2025."

6. Learned counsel for the parties are unanimous on the point that the issue raised in this writ petition has been 2025:UHC:11243

decided in WPSS No. 2126 of 2025.

7. Accordingly, the writ petition is decided in terms of the judgment dated 09.12.2025 rendered in WPSS No. 2126 of 2025.
