Mr. S.K. Mandal, learned counsel for the petitioners.

2. By means of the present writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the judgment and award dated 02.07.2025 passed in Adjudication Case No. 12 of 2024, Shri Gagan Singh vs. Manager, Haibron Elementary School & Another, whereby the learned Labour Court has directed the petitioners to pay a lump-sum amount of Rs.8 lakhs to the respondent- workman.

3. Issue notice to the respondent-workman, returnable within four weeks.

4. Steps to be taken within three days.

5. List on 09.03.2026.

6. However, it is provided that, subject to the deposit of Rs.4 lakhs before this Court, the effect and operation of the judgment and award dated 02.07.2025 passed by the Labour Court, Dehradun, shall remain stayed.

7. Stay application (IA No.1/2025) stands disposed of accordingly.
