The proposed Appeal has been filed under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 against the judgment dated 16.12.2022, passed by learned IInd Additional District Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar in Land Acquisition Reference Case No.40 of 2014, by which, the learned Judge has dismissed the said reference.
2. The proposed Appeal has been filed along with an Application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 to condone the delay of 656 days.
3. Heard Mr. Chandramauli Sah, learned counsel for the proposed legal representatives of the deceased appellant, Mr. K.S. Mehta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 and 2 & Mr. Lalit Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent nos.3 and 4.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents have sought four weeks' time to file objection to the Delay Condonation Application (IA No.1 of 2024).
5. Time is granted.
