The Court made the following:
JUDGMENT:
(per Hon'ble The Chief Justice Ms. Ritu Bahri)
A short prayer of the petitioner in the present writ
petition is that the petitioner was chargesheeted on
15.09.2022 and 18.11.2022, Annexure no.3 to the writ
petition. Pursuant to the chargesheet, he gave his reply to
the first chargesheet on 07.10.2022 and to the second
chargesheet on 24.12.2022, and till date the inquiry has not
been completed. It is more than one and a half years, has
gone by after he gave his reply.
2. Notice of motion. Learned State Counsel accepts
notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. At this stage, without going into the merits of this
case, this writ petition is being disposed of giving direction to
the competent authority, which is enquiring the mattter, to
conclude the inquiry proceedings within six weeks, and
necessary information will be sent to this Court also.
