Stay Application (IA No.01 of 2023)

By this application, the petitioner seeks stay of the effect and operation of the judgment dated 06.01.2023, whereby the Electricity Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (Haridwar Zone) has directed the petitioner to provide fresh electricity connection to the respondent.

I am not inclined to stay the said direction, as electricity is a fundamental necessity in today's time.

I direct the petitioner to provide fresh electricity connection to the respondent, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, without any delay.
