During the course of arguments, reference has been made to certain proceedings that were undertaken against the informant with regard to sexual harassment.
Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the informant would submit that the informant has already been acquitted in all the matters. He has the judgments. He has prepared a counter affidavit, which may be filed today. Although, according to learned Senior Counsel, the opportunity of filing counter affidavit of the informant has been closed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if the informant wants to file his counter affidavit, he may be permitted to do so.
Let the informant file counter affidavit by tomorrow evening.
The order dated 16.08.2023 is modified accordingly.
If the petitioner intends to file any rejoinder to this counter affidavit, it may be done in another one week.
List this matter for final hearing on 13.09.2023, after fresh cases, as the first case.
Interim order, if any, is extended till the next date of listing.
