This appeal has been filed under Section 374(2) of Cr.P.C. against the judgment and order dated 26.05.2023 passed by Additional Sessions Judge/F.T.C., Haridwar in Special Session Trial No. 166 of 2018, whereby the appellant has been convicted under Section 376(2)(i)(n) IPC and sentenced to undergo 10 years' rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.50,000/-, with default stipulation of further 6 months' additional imprisonment and under Section 5(l)/6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, for 10 years' rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.50,000/-, with default stipulation of further 6 months' additional rigorous imprisonment. Both the sentences were directed to run concurrently.
