JUDGMENT
Petitioner is serving as Senior Clerk in District Consumer Redressal Commission, Champawat.
2. By means of this writ petition, he has challenged an order of punishment passed by Registrar, State Consumer Redressal Commission, Uttarakhand.
3. Since salary is paid to the petitioner from State Exchequer, therefore, he is a public servant within the meaning of the term as defined under Section 2 (b) of U.P. Public Service Tribunal Act, 1976.
4. In such view of the matter writ petition is dismissed, on the ground of alternative remedy with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Public Service Tribunal constituted under the aforesaid Act.
5. Petitioner shall be at liberty to seek benefit of Section 14 of Limitation Act, 1963.
