                         JUDGMENT

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this writ petition is covered by judgment dated 29.12.2021 rendered by this Court in WPMS No. 2834 of 2021. He, therefore, submits that this writ petition may be decided in terms of the aforesaid judgment.

2. Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 4 also endorses the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioners that identical controversy has been dealt with in the judgment dated 29.12.2021 rendered in WPMS No. 2834 of 2021.

3. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 29.12.2021 rendered in WPMS No. 2834 of 2021 and it is provided that petitioners shall be at liberty to make application(s)

under Section 4 (2) of Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 to the Competent Authority, within two weeks from today. If such application(s) is made within the stipulated period, the Competent Authority shall look into the matter and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks' from the date of receipt of application(s) along with certified copy of this order.
