The Appeal (AO No.578 of 2014), "Dara Singh vs. Surat Singh and Others", was allowed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 02.05.2016. In the said appeal, the appellant (applicant herein) had deposited statutory amount i.e. Rs.25,000/- (Twenty five thousand).

Heard Mr. T.C. Agrawal, learned counsel for the applicant-appellant and Mr. K.K. Sah, learned counsel for the Insurance Company on Money Withdrawal Application (MCC No.13653 of 2022).

Mr. K.K. Sah, learned counsel for the Insurance Company submitted that according to the instruction of Insurance Company, the said judgment dated 02.05.2016 has not been challenged.

The present Money Withdrawal Application (MCC No.13653 of 2022) has been filed by the applicant to release the said deposited statutory amount i.e. Rs.25,000/- (Twenty five thousand).

Money Withdrawal Application (MCC No.13653 of 2022) is allowed.

The Registry is directed to release the said statutory amount in favour of the applicant-appellant Dara Singh, in accordance with law.
