The learned trial court had convicted the respondent nos.2 to 4 for the offence punishable under Sections 120B and 420 of IPC. The respondent nos.5 and 6 were convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 120B, 420, 471 of IPC vide judgment dated 03.03.2020. The respondent nos.2 to 6 preferred an appeal against the said judgment of conviction and sentence dated 03.03.2020. The said Criminal Appeal (No.126 of 2020, "Smt. Manjulata Singh and four Others vs. State of Uttarakhand"), has been allowed on 23.05.2022. The judgment dated 03.03.2020 has been set aside and the respondent nos. 2 to 6 are acquitted.
The present appeal has been filed by the victim under proviso to Section 372 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 against the said judgment dated 23.05.2022 passed by the learned Appellate Court.
Heard Mr. B.P. Nautiyal, the learned Senior Advocate assisted by Mr. Mohd. Matlub, the learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, the learned A.G.A. for the State/respondent no.1.
