                        JUDGMENT

1. Petitioner filed a suit for divorce under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act, which is pending before Additional Judge, Family Court, Dehradun.

2. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the court concerned to expedite disposal of the said suit.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the suit was filed by the petitioner in the year 2019 and is registered as Original Suit No. 214 of 2019.

4. Having regard to the fact that suit was filed only in the year 2019, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with request to learned Additional Judge, Family Court, Dehradun to expedite hearing of Original Suit No. 214 of 2019 and decide the same as early as possible, in accordance with law, preferably within eighteen months from the date of production of

certified copy of this order. It is made clear that unnecessary adjournment shall not be granted to any of the parties.
