Instant petition has been filed with the prayer that the
respondents may be directed to pay the leave encashment due to the
petitioner.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that having been retired
from the Uttarakhand State Road Transport Corporation on
31.10.2016, he has yet not been paid leave encashment due to him.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the
petitioner retired from service on 31.10.2016. The leave encashment
has already been sanctioned to him, but it is not being paid to the
petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents, under instructions,
would tell that the respondents do not dispute the claim of the
petitioner, but they seek four months time to make the payment.
5. The Court takes on record the statement given by the
learned counsel for the respondents.
6. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the
respondents to make the payment of admissible leave encashment due
to the petitioner within a period of four months from today.
