JUDGMENT
Heard learned counsel for the parties through video conferencing.
2. Petitioner submitted bid for grant of license for retail sale of Indian made Foreign Liquor for the financial year 2018-19. His bid was rejected on the ground that he had furnished security money through banker's cheque in place of bank draft.
3. This writ petition came up for preliminary hearing before a Coordinate Bench on 02.05.2018. Thereafter, the matter was listed on 09.05.2018 and again on 17.05.2018, but no counter affidavit
was called from the respondents nor any interim order was passed in favour of the petitioner.
4. Since the bidding process was in respect of financial year 2018-19, which is over long back, therefore, the relief as claimed in the writ petition does not survive anymore. Accordingly, writ petition fails and is dismissed. No order as to costs.
