The petitioners have approached this writ court for the payment of minimum of Pay-scale.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the controversy at hand stands covered by the bunch of writ petitions, which was decided by this Court vide its judgment and order dated 27.07.2020 passed in leading writ petition being WPSS No.2736 of 2017 "Om Prakash Jaiswal Vs. State of Uttarakhand & others".

The petitioners have submitted before this Court that for the purposes of grant of parity of benefit in pursuance to the aforesaid judgment, they have already approached the respondents by filing their representations on 01.01.2021, but the decision is still pending consideration and the grant of minimum of Pay-scale has not yet been decided by the respondents.

Considering the overall circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3/Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar to take appropriate decision on the representations of the petitioners dated 01.01.2021, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.

Subject to the above, the writ petition stands disposed.
