WPSS/1056/2020
2021 Latest Caselaw 111 UK

Citation : 2021 Latest Caselaw 111 UK
Judgement Date : 11 January, 2021

Uttarakhand High Court
WPSS/1056/2020 on 11 January, 2021
WPSS No.1056 of 2020
Hon'ble Lok Pal Singh, J.

Ms. Neetu Singh, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. P. S. Bisht, Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand/respondent no.1.

Ms. Indu Sharma, Advocate for the respondent nos. 2 to 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 4 has filed a time extension application seeking six months' further time to make the payments to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 4 would submit that due to unavoidable circumstances compliance of the judgment and order passed by this Court dated 18.09.2020 has not been made.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court is convinced that the respondents are bona fide seeking time for payment to the petitioner.

Consequently, the time extension application is allowed. Further six weeks' time is granted to learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 4 for compliance of the order dated 18.09.2020 and respondent is directed to pay some reasonable amount out of the total amount within a period of one month. Remaining amount shall be paid by the respondent nos. 2 to 4 within a period of three months.

Time Extension Application No. (7396 of 2021) stands disposed of accordingly.

                       (Lok Pal Singh, J.)
Shubham 11.01.2021
