JUDGMENT
1. Mr. Vipul Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the opposite parties has produced in Court the orders passed by Assistant Registrar (Recruitment), IIT Roorkee on 9th July, 2019, whereby all the petitioners have been given regular appointment against 'Group-C' post, except petitioner no. 2. The orders produced by learned counsel for the opposite parties are taken on record.
2. Regarding petitioner no. 2, learned counsel appearing for the opposite parties submits that since he lacks the basic academic qualification for regular appointment, therefore, he has been granted three years opportunity for attaining the necessary requisite qualification. He further submits that three years period would come to an end in the year 2022. He assures the Court that if petitioner no. 2 completes requisite academic qualification, then he shall be given regular appointment on 'Group-C' post, and in
the meantime, he is serving in IIT Roorkee on contract.
3. In such view of the matter, this Court is satisfied that the order passed by Writ Court has been complied with.
4. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. Notices issued to the opposite parties are hereby discharged.
