                           JUDGMENT

1. Petitioner wants certain corrections to be made in his Secondary School Examination (Xth Standard) and Senior School Certificate Examination (XIIth Standard) Certificates issued by Central Board of Secondary Education.

2. Petitioner has already made an application for the said purpose, which is pending before Central Board of Secondary Education.

3. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the Competent Authority in the Central Board of Secondary Education to make necessary correction in the Educational Certificates issued to the petitioner.

4. Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Jigya Yadav (Minor) (Through Guardian/Father Hari Singh) vs Central Board of Secondary Education & others reported in (2021) 7 SCC 535 has considered and discussed the entire law on the subject and has issued certain guidelines on the subject and has permitted correction in Educational Certificates, in appropriate cases.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi to consider petitioner's application and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within three months from the date of production of this order.
