                           JUDGMENT

This Contempt Petition was filed in the year 2017, alleging wilful disobedience of an interim order passed in A.O. No. 559 of 2017, whereby parties were directed to maintain status quo as regards the land in dispute.

2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent nos. 2 to 5 has produced in Court the final order dated 07.12.2017 passed in A.O. No. 559 of 2017.

3. Perusal of the said order indicates that the appeal was disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to decide Temporary Injunction Application filed by the plaintiffs, after considering the objection filed by the defendant under Order 39 Rule 4 C.P.C.

4. Since A.O. No. 559 of 2017 itself has been disposed of, therefore, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this Contempt Petition pending.

5 Accordingly, Contempt Petition is closed. Contempt notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged.
