JUDGMENT
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent has produced in Court a letter received by his office from District Magistrate, Garhwal, which is dated 07.02.2018.
2. Perusal of the said letter reveals that a sum of ` 4,52,042/- has been paid to the petitioner.
3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the only direction was for payment of the monetary benefits to the petitioner, including arrears of salary, which have been released. Thus, according to him, the order stands complied with.
4. In view of the statement so made by learned Standing Counsel, Contempt Petition is closed. Contempt notice issued to respondent is hereby discharged. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to seek recall of this order, if the statement made by learned Standing counsel, is found to be incorrect.
