                                  Hon'ble R.C. Khulbe, J.

Mr. B.D. Pande, learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr. S.K. Shandilya, learned counsel for the respondent.

As per the request of learned counsel for the parties, the present criminal writ petition is treated as revision.

This revision is directed against the judgment and order dated 05.10.2018, passed by the learned Judge Family Court, Haridwar, in Misc. Case No.286 of 2017, 'Smt. Veenus Vs. Neeraj Kumar'.

Heard.

From the perusal of the record, the respondent filed an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C., which was registered as Misc. Case No.286 of 2017, 'Smt. Veenus Vs. Neeraj Kumar' for granting maintenance; during the course of hearing an application (9-A) was also submitted by the respondent for granting interim maintenance, which was allowed vide order dated 05.10.2018; accordingly, the revisionist was directed to pay Rs.8,000/- per month as interim maintenance from the date of order. Aggrieved by it the present revision is preferred.

As per the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the revisionist is ready to pay Rs.6,000/- instead of Rs.8,000/- per month as interim maintenance to the respondent, as per order dated 05.10.2018.

Accordingly, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this revision is disposed of and the impugned order dated 05.10.2018 is modified to the extent that the revisionist will pay Rs.6,000/- per month as interim maintenance to the respondent from the date of order and will also pay the entire arrears of maintenance on the next date before the concerned court.

The matter is pending since 2017; accordingly, the concerned court is directed to decide the application preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.

Needless to mention that the aforesaid observations are strictly for the purposes of deciding the revision and those shall not have any bearing on the final merits of the case.

Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
