                         JUDGMENT

1. Writ Court, vide order dated 17.03.2017, passed in WPSS No. 2256 of 2015, directed the respondents to de-reserve the vacant posts and consider the case of the petitioners and also to pay the minimum wages to them.

2. In this contempt petition, it is alleged that the order passed by Writ Court has not been complied with.

3. Learned State counsel submit that compliance has been made.

4. A compliance affidavit has also been filed Mr. Savin Bansal, Additional Secretary, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. In para 5 of the said compliance affidavit, it has been stated that all the petitioners have been paid minimum wages to the tune of ₹6,480/- per month from the due date i.e.

26.06.2017. Regarding dereserving the posts and consideration of the petitioners, it is stated that the matter is pending in a Special Appeal.

4. Mr. Manish Lohani, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Amish Tewari, learned counsel for the petitioner also makes a statement that the order passed by Writ Court has been complied with

5. In view of the averments made in the compliance affidavit as well as considering the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that compliance of the order passed by Writ Court has been made.

6. In such view of the matter, contempt petition is closed. Notices issued to the opposite parties are hereby discharged.
