BEFORE HON'BLE JUSTICE DR. T. AMARNATH GOUD Order 19/02/2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the applicant. This is an application filed under Section 151 CPC for a direction for withdrawing the fixed deposited amount which is kept under Fixed Deposit Certificate in the name of Registrar General, High Court of Tripura, in terms of judgment and order dated 07.05.2024 passed in MAC App. 56 of 2023 from the share of the awarded amount of the applicant. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is an aged about 72 years old and she is an widow, and for continuing with her medical treatment, she is in urgent need of money, hence, release of the fixed deposited amount is urgently required. Learned counsel has also submitted that the fixed deposit certificate is in the name of the Registrar General of this High Court.

I have gone through the contentions made in the instant application, which is found to be satisfactory.

Accordingly, the applicant is permitted to withdraw the fixed deposit amount. Registry is directed to do the needful in this regard. In view of the same, this application is allowed and thus disposed of.
