Learned Counsel Mr. K. D. Singha is present for the
petitioner and seeks an indulgence to adjourn the case today.
Mr. B. Majumder, Learned D.S.G.I. appears for the
respondents and submits that in view of the judgment delivered
by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in State of Maharashtra vs.
Tapas D. Neogy reported in 1999 7 SCC 685 in para No.12 the
bank account is also comes within the definition of property for
the purpose of seizure as per Section 102 of the Cr.P.C. so there
was no infirmity in the order.
The case is adjourned.
