HON'BLE JUSTICE DR. T. AMARNATH GOUD HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE BISWAJIT PALIT Order 05/11/2025
This petition is filed under Section 114 of the CPC for reviewing the Judgment and Order dated 03.12.2024 passed by this Court in MAT. Appeal 5 of 2024 for providing opportunity to the petitioner to recover her stridhan and arrear maintenance.
Heard learned Counsel appearing for the parties. Learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for an order of recovery of her stridhan articles alongwith arrear maintenance. Learned counsel for the respondent objecting the prayer of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner while leaving her matrimonial residence has taken away all the stridhan articles alongwith her and nothing is left in her matrimonial residence.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the records, it is evident that the petitioner could not substantiate her claim for getting return of her stridhan articles nor could substantiate any arrear maintenance. In view of the above, the instant review petition stands dismissed.
