Heard Mr. Kawsik Nath, learned counsel and Mr. Dipjyoti
Paul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Kohinoor
Narayan Bhattacharyya, learned G.A. appearing for the State-
respondents.
Learned counsel of both sides submit that already an appeal
has been filed against the judgment dated 01.10.2024, passed by a
Single Bench of this Court in WP(C) No.95 of 2024 and after admission
of the appeal, stay has been granted.
In view of the above, there is no further necessity to keep
the Contempt petition pending, as the related judgment is already under
challenge and subjudice.
Accordingly, the Contempt petition is dropped.
Interim applications, if any, shall also stands disposed of.
