The appellant is a sole convict. The appeal is preferred against

the impugned judgment of conviction and sentence dated 29.08.2023, passed

by the Ld. Special Judge (POCSO), Unakoti District, Kailashahar in Special

(POCSO) No.12 of 2021, whereby the learned Special Judge (POCSO),

Unakoti District, Kailashahar convicted the appellant for offence punishable

under Section 6 of the POCSO Act, and sentenced him to suffer RI for a term

of 20(twenty) years, and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/- and in default of payment

of fine, to suffer SI for a further term of 1(one) month. The convict has been

further sentenced to suffer SI for a term of 1(one) year, and pay fine of

Rs.500/- for offence punishable under Section 342 of the IPC and in default of

the payment of fine, to suffer SI for a further term of 7(seven) days.

Admit.
