Heard Mr. D.C. Roy, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner.

It is contended by Mr. Roy, learned counsel that the award

passed by the Tribunal was enhanced by this Court to the tune of

Rs.9,00,000/- along with interest on the enhanced amount by judgment

and order dated 31.01.2020 passed in MAC App. 3/2019. It is submitted

by Mr. Roy that despite the specific direction issued by this Court, the

insurance company has not yet satisfied the award. It appears from

record that the insurance company entered their appearance through

their advocates Mr. M.K. Roy and Mr. Rajib Saha.

Having considered these submissions made by Mr. Roy in this

Court, I am of the opinion that the Manager, Cholamandalam MS General

Insurance Co. should be asked to appear in person before this Court on

the next date. Therefore, the Manager, Cholamandalam MS General

Insurance Company, Mantribari Road, near Raymond Shop, P.S. West

Agartala, District, West Tripura is directed to remain present before this

Court sharp at 10:30 AM on 9th February, 2022.

Inform him accordingly.

List the matter on 09.02.2022.
