By this application the petitioner has urged the court to

stay the operation of the judgment and order dated 03.03.2021 passed

by the learned Sessions Judge in Criminal Appeal No. 6 of 2019

affirming the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated

06.03.2019 of the learned Judicial Magistrate of the First class Belonia

, South Tripura in case no. GR 297 of 2008 whereby petitioner Abul

Khalek was sentenced to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for 01

year and a fine of Rs.5,000/- with default stipulation under Section 471

IPC.

Heard Ms. M. Pal, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner.

Heard Mr.Ratan Datta, learned PP appearing fort the State

respondent.

The operation of the impugned judgment as against the

petitioner is hereby stayed during the disposal of the revision petition.

Meanwhile, convict petitioner Abul Khalek shall be released on bail on

his furnishing the bail bond of Rs.20,000/- with one surety of like

amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial court within a period of 2

weeks from today.

Communicate the order to the learned trial Judge.

In terms of the above, the IA is disposed of.
