HIGH COURT OF TRIPURA

W.A. No.180/2019
The United Bank of India and others
.....Appellant(s)
Versus
Ranjit Basfore and another
.....Respondent(s)
For Appellant(s) : Mr. Daniel Debbarma, Advocate.
For Respondent(s) : Mr. Biswanath Majumder, CGC.
HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. AKIL KURESHI
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S.G. CHATTOPADHYAY
ORDER
06/07/2021.
(Akil Kureshi, CJ).
The respondent No.1-original petitioner had challenged his transfer,
which was set aside by the learned Single Judge by the impugned
judgment. Against the said judgment, the Bank has filed this Appeal.
Pending this Appeal, the original petitioner had filed I.A. No.02 of 2021
along with which he has produced a letter dated 22.02.2021 written to the
Deputy General Manager of the Bank stating that he no longer has
grievance against his transfer by the Bank. That being the position, this
Appeal has become infructuous.
Learned counsel for the Bank stated that subsequently, the original
petitioner was already transferred on promotion to his home town.
In view of these developments, Writ Appeal along with connected
Applications are disposed of.
