This criminal revision petition has been filed challenging
the judgment and order passed by the learned Sessions Judge on
27.07.2021 in Criminal Appeal No. 07 of 2019 affirming the judgment
and order of conviction and sentence passed by the trial court whereby
the petitioner was convicted for having committed offence punishable
under section 498A IPC and sentenced to SI for one year and fine of
Rs.5,000/- with default stipulation.
Heard Mr. S. Sarkar, learned senior advocate appearing
for the petitioner along with Ms. P. Chakraborty, learned advocate.
Heard Mr. R. Datta, learned P.P representing the State
respondent.
The criminal revision petition stands admitted.
Issue notice returnable on 22.09.2021.
Mr. R. Datta, learned P.P has waived service of notice
on behalf of the State respondent. Therefore, formal service of notice is
not required. The petitioner is however, directed to supply copy of the
petition along with all supporting documents to learned P.P in the
course of the day.

soon after receiving the LC record.
