THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. SAM KOSHY
Civil Revision Petition No.1920 of 2025
ORDER :
The instant Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the
petitioners under Article 227 of the Constitution of India against
the respondents praying the Court to direct the XII Additional
District and Sessions Judge - cum - XII Additional Metropolitan
Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar to dispose of
O.S.No.202 of 2021, pending on its file, expeditiously within a
period of four weeks or at any early date.
2. Heard Mr. Kondapalli Syam Sunder, learned counsel for the
petitioners.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the
above suit is one which was filed in the year 2021 and by now
pleadings were completed and trial is also over, except for the final
arguments and for judgment.
4. Given the limited innocuous prayer that the petitioners have
made in the instant Revision, this Court does not find any good
reason as to why such prayer should not be allowed particularly
when the suit itself is now almost four years old and pleadings are
complete, and the matter is ripe for hearing. Accordingly, the Trial
Court is expected to take a decision in the said suit, viz.,
O.S.No.202 of 2021 at the earliest preferably within a period of six
(06) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition stands
allowed. No costs.
6. As a consequence, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any,
shall stand closed.
