WRIT PETITION No.14637 OF 2010
ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner for
following relief:
"....to issue a Writ or order or direction, especially one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, i) declaring the action of the respondents in not issuing orders of appointment to petitioners as JLM as illegal and arbitrary, ii) consequently, direct the respondents to issue orders of appointment to petitioners pursuant to the judgment rendered by this Hon'ble Court in W.A.No.1434 of 2008 and batch dated 10.11.2008 with effect from the date and which others were given the orders of appointment duly granting all other consequential benefits ..."
2. Today when the matter is called, the learned counsel for the
respondent No.3 submitted additional counter affidavit, a perusal
of it, it is evident that by order dated 05.09.2011, all the petitioners
in this writ petition were appointed as Junior Lineman on yearly
contract basis and they are still continuing in the respondent
company as on today, except petitioner No.6 Pipavatha Vasanth
who died on 06.05.2021.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners also accepted the
contention of the learned counsel for the respondent.

4. Having regard to the above, this Court is of the considered
opinion that nothing survives in this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in
the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
