HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE N.V.SHRAVAN KUMAR
            WRIT PETITION (TR) No. 5687 OF 2017

ORDER:

This writ petition (tr) is filed to direct the respondents to

consider the case of applicant for promotion to the post of

Lecturer in DIET Institutions and declaring the action of the

respondents in not implementing the judgments of Hon'ble

High Court and Hon'ble Supreme Court by duly preparing

seniority after deleting employees of Panchayat Raj

Institutions, as Illegal, bad and arbitrary and consequentially

direct the respondents to promote the applicant to the post of

Lecturer in DIET Institution; and pass such other order.

2. Today when the matter has been taken up for hearing,

learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Andhra

Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad by order dated

03.03.2016, passed the following interim order:-

"Accordingly, respondents are directed to consider the case of the applicant for promotion to the post of Lecturer in DIET as per his seniority, eligibility and as per rules."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of

the interim order dated 03.03.2016, the respondent authorities

may be directed to consider the case of the applicant for

promotion to the post of Lecturer in DIET as per his seniority,

eligibility and as per rules, if not considered till date. The respondents are hereby directed to comply the orders dated

03.03.2016 passed by the Tribunal and pass appropriate

orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of

receipt of the copy of this order and communicate the same to

the petitioner.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel

on either side, this Writ Petition (TR) is accordingly disposed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand

closed. No order as to costs.
