               WRIT PETITION No.11313 of 2023

ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus

declaring the action of the respondents in not receiving the

application form and not releasing the power supply to the

petitioners' house bearing plot No.306 admeasuring 500 Sq.Yds. in

1st floor and G-1 in Sy.Nos.11/11, 11/12 and 11/13 and part of

Sy.No.11 situated at Khanamet Village, Serilingampally Mandal

under GHMC Serilingampally circle, Ranga Reddy District as illegal

and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents to release

the power supply without being influenced by the instructions of the

5th respondent and to pass such other order or orders.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri R.Vinod

Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TSSPDCL appearing for the

respondents No.1 to 4 and Mr.M.A.K.Mukheed, learned Standing

Counsel for GHMC appearing for respondent No.5.

3. It is stated by the learned counsel on either side that the

issue raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the

orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.32614 of 2015 dated

18.12.2015.

4. In view of the same and for the reasons alike, the present

Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage directing the

respondents to release the individual service connection to the

petitioners on payment of requisite charges within a period of four

(04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, which

shall be subject to further direction which may be issued by the

State of Telangana or the Supreme Court in the litigation which is

pending before it arising out of the judgment of the Division Bench

dated 12.09.2021 in W.P.No.20407 of 2008 and batch. There shall

be no order as to costs.

5. Office is directed to append a copy of the order in

W.P.No.32614 of 2015 dated 18.12.2015.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
