WRIT PETITION No.36580 of 2022
O R D E R:
This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:
" ... to issue a Writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents particularly Respondent No.3 in not registering the FIR agains the named accused in petitioner's complaint dated 08.09.2022 though the offences are serious in nature as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, violative of Principles of natural justice and contrary to the judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court and consequently direct the respondents to register FIR against the named accused in the complaint dated 08.09.2022... ."
2. Smt. Preethy Swarna Latha, learned counsel for the petitioner,
submits that the petitioner has given a complaint on 08.09.2022 to
the respondent police. Questioning the action of the respondent
police in not registering the said complaint, the present writ petition
is filed.
3. When the matter came up for admission, Sri A.Manoj Kumar,
learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written
instructions submits that the complaint of the petitioner is registered
as Crime No.608 of 2022 on 20.09.2022 for the offences under
Sections 498-A and 324 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry
Prohibition Act.
4. Recording the submission of learned Assistant Government
Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to
costs.
Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
