THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SATISH CHANDRA SHARMA
AND
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY
WRIT APPEAL No.178 OF 2019
JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma)
The present Writ Appeal is arising out of an interim
order dated 27.02.2019 passed in I.A.No.4 of 2018 in
I.A.No.1 of 2018 in W.P.No.34796 of 2018, by which the
learned Single Judge has modified an earlier interim order
granted on 01.10.2018 permitting the official respondents
to undertake the exercise of promotions to the Post of
Head Constables and Sub Inspectors including drafting of
eligible promotees to the pre-promotional training as per
Rules. It is also observed that the if petitioners as well as
unofficial respondents are within the zone of
consideration, their cases can also be considered, subject
to result of the writ petition.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners
has fairly stated before this Court that the learned Single
Judge be requested to decide the matter at an early date
and all promotions shall be subject to final outcome in the
writ petition.
Resultantly, without adverting to the merits of the
case, present Writ Appeal stands disposed of with a
request to the learned Single Judge to decide the matter
at an early date preferably within a period of six (6) weeks
from today. It is needless to state that this Court has not
observed anything on merits of the case.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand
dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
