          CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.801 of 2008

JUDGMENT :

This criminal revision case is filed, aggrieved of the order dated

15.02.2008 in M.C.No.179 of 2006 on the file of Metropolitan

Sessions Judge for trial of JHCBBC-cum-Additional Family Court-

cum-XXIII Additional Chief Judge, Nampally, Hyderabad, whereby,

the learned trial Court has awarded the sum of Rs.2,000/- per month

towards monthly maintenance to the 1st respondent herein from the

date of order, on or before 10th of every month.

2. The revision petitioner contends in this revision that the trial

Court has granted excess amount towards maintenance as he is not

earning more than Rs.4,000/- month.

3. On perusal of the entire material on record, I am of the

considered view that the trial Court has passed the aforesaid order

granting maintenance @ Rs.2,000/- per month after thoroughly

considering the evidence on record and taking into account the

business and capacity of the petitioner herein. Therefore, I do not find

any illegality or infirmity in the order impugned, awarding

maintenance to the 1st respondent herein, who is none other than the

natural daughter of the revision petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this criminal revision case is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
