                  WRIT APPEAL No.926 of 2019

JUDGMENT:   (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma)




     The present writ appeal is arising out of an interim

order dated 01.05.2019 passed in W.P.No.34677 of 2018 by

the learned Single Judge.

     The facts of the case reveal that Prof. Salina Ahmed

Farooqui/writ petitioner came up before this Court seeking

extension of her term as Professor-cum-Director of the H.K.

Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies, Maulana Azad National

Urdu University. On the day the matter came up for

admission, it was informed by the learned counsel for the

petitioner that a Committee has been appointed to enquire

into the affairs of the H.K. Sherwani Centre for Deccan

Studies, Maulana Azad National Urdu University and the

learned Single Judge has passed an order permitting the

Committee to go ahead with the enquiry and it has also been

observed that no final order will be passed and the matter

was posted to 07.06.2019.

     Learned     counsel        for     the      appellant/University   has

informed this Court that the enquiry is over.

     In the considered opinion of this Court, if the enquiry is

over, the proper course of action is to approach the learned

Single Judge and inform that the enquiry is over.                       The

appellants shall certainly be free to file an application for

vacating the stay and if such an application is filed for

vacating the stay, the learned Single Judge is requested to

decide the same.     This Court does not find any reason to

interfere with the interim order passed by the learned Single

Judge.

      Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed.     It is made

clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits

of the case.

      Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
