WRIT PETITION No. 11149 of 2021
ORDER:
The present writ petition came to be filed with the following
prayer:
"issuance of writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner at the instance of the 3rd respondent without any valid and justifiable cause and illegally detaining in 2nd respondent's police station for two consecutive days i.e., 08.04.2021 and 09.04.2021 without following due procedure and threatening the petitioner with dire consequences and compelling the petitioner to act according to his whims and fancies as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and violative of principles of natural justice and contrary to the judgment of this Court in Tirumala Siva Prasad v. State of A.P.1; consequently direct the 2nd respondent not to interfere with the petitioner's personal life and liberty without following due process of law."
Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner; learned
Government Pleader for Home and perused the material on record.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and
without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is
directed not to interfere with life and liberty of the petitioner
during the course of investigation in connection with the complaint
lodged by the 3rd respondent, without adopting due procedure of
law.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending
shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
