Judgment / Order

27/01/2026 The present misc. application has been filed seeking

extension of the period of emergent parole granted by this Court

vide order dated 06.01.2026.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that sister of the

convict petitioner is being treated at the higher centre for the

cancer and biopsy test shall be conducted on 30.01.2026. She,

therefore, prays that the period of emergent parole granted to the

applicant may kindly be extended for a period of 15 days.

Learned public prosecutor has verified the factum of the

convict petitioner's sister suffering from cancer.

Considering the submissions made at the bar, the present

misc. application is allowed. The period of emergent parole

granted to the applicant by this Court on 06.01.2026 is further

extended for a period of 15 days from the date of his surrender

pursuant to the earlier order dated 06.01.2026 on the same terms

and conditions mentioned in the said order.
