1. At the outset, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the issue raised in the present writ petition is covered by an order passed by this Court in case of Vijay Singh v. State of Rajasthan & Ors.: S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.21/2020, decided on 21.07.2023. He submits that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner in light of the aforesaid judgment.

2. In view of the submissions made, without commenting on the merits of the case, the petition filed by the petitioner is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, keeping in view the observations made in the case of Vijay Singh (supra), as expeditiously as possible.

3. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
