Ramesh Gurjar vs State Of Rajasthan on 16 March, 2023
Bench: Vijay Bishnoi, Rajendra Prakash Soni

HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN JODHPUR

D.B. Criminal Misc Suspension Of Sentence Application (Appeal) No. 1223/2022 Ramesh Gurjar

----Petitioner Versus State Of Rajasthan

----Respondent

For Petitioner(s) : None Present For Respondent(s) : Mr. R.R. Chapparwal, PP

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAY BISHNOI HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJENDRA PRAKASH SONI Order

16/03/2023

The matter comes up for consideration of application filed on

behalf of the appellant-applicant seeking Suspension of Sentence

awarded by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge No.2, Chittorgarh

vide judgment dated 06.06.2022 passed in Sessions Case

No.47/2020.

Counsel for the appellant is not present as apparently he is

abstaining from work pursuant to the call given by the office

bearers of the Bar Association. Such non-appearance is clearly

illegal and in breach of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme

Court in the case of Ex. Capt. Harish Uppal Vs. Unionof India

& Anr., reported in [2003 (2) SCC 45].

As no one is appearing on behalf of the appellant to assist

the Court, list this appeal after two weeks.
